Crafton Tull Sparks Announces Smart Car Giveaway
Employee Incentive to Become LEED® Certified

Tulsa, OK –(April 22, 2008)– Crafton Tull Sparks shows its commitment to sustainable design by giving away a Smart Car as part of an employee incentive program. Sustainable design (also referred to as "green design") is the art of designing new or renovating buildings to comply with the principles of economic, social, and ecological sustainability.

"In honor of Earth Day, we are launching ‘Take the LEED: Get Smart with Crafton Tull Sparks,’ a campaign to encourage more of our employees to take the LEED® accreditation exam," said Tom Hopper, president of Crafton Tull Sparks. "We thought this would be a fun incentive to motivate employees in the right direction for the environment."

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), serves as the national benchmark for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process.

Employees that are have passed the LEED accreditation exam will qualify for a chance to win a Smart Car awarded at a company meeting in November.

Smart Cars are leading the way in environmentally friendly automotive design. In fact, protecting the environment, energy efficiency and preservation of natural resources are hallmarks of the Smart brand.

The Smart ForTwo is also classified as an Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) on account of its extremely low exhaust emissions. And with an average 33 city/41 highway miles per gallon, driving a Smart Car is easy on your pocketbook. (These numbers are based on the EPA’s new, more stringent miles per gallon calculations, implemented this year. They take into account sitting in city traffic, running the air conditioner, etc.).

Crafton Tull Sparks has 315 employees with offices in Conway, AR, Little Rock, AR, Oklahoma City, OK, Rogers, AR, Russellville, AR, Tulsa, OK and Wichita, KS. Founded in 1963, they provide architectural, engineering, interior design and surveying services across the nation.

Jackie Cooper Imports in Tulsa, OK, is making the Smart Car available. The normal lead time for getting a Smart Car averages one to one-and-a-half years.
