It was a madhouse as our OKC office held a bedlam lunch fundraiser for United Way.
In Oklahoma, bedlam is when Oklahoma State University plays the University of
Oklahoma. Family, friends and clients were invited to place their donations in honor
of the team they root for. The team raising the most funds won bragging rights.

Several of us also participated in the United Way Day of Caring. With our paint
brushes in tow, we made repairs to the Canadian County CASA office. This
organization gives displaced children a voice in the court system.

The Jim Thorpe ArtFest is an art competition for public school students. Several of
us spent time preparing the displays and the awards reception. The students who
compete are selected by their teachers and their work is judged on creativity,
interpretation of theme and skill of presentation.
