| Serving the Community Food Bank has been a passion of Tulsa employees for many years. We work at the bank to re-label cans so they can be distributed to needy families. For many years we held a Halloween Spook House for the community … price of admission, a canned food item. During the holidays we all donated pajamas to CASA to use for children caught up in the court and child welfare maze. We also hold frequent Blood Drives. One employee has donated blood for 56 years, saving in excess of 300 lives! Some of us also spend our time volunteering for Tulsa Street School, Mental Health Association of Tulsa, Mayfest, Oktoberfest, Family Film Festivals, and Music on the River. We even have an employee who volunteers his time at Car Care Clinic. They fix cars for needy families so they can travel safely to doctor appointments, work, school or the grocery store. For others their profession translates to their passion after hours. One of our architects sits on the Board of Trustees for the Colonial Fox Foundation. This is a citizen’s group in Pittsburg, Kansas, that is restoring a downtown movie theatre to its original glory. |
