Stillwater National Bank - Tulsa, OK
Stillwater National Bank drew upon Oklahoma’s landscape and nature for the landmark three-story window panels that create the face of the atrium. Other unique design features of the building include: the corner of the building is cut away to form a elliptical landscape garden that leads to the atrium, the glass panels of the atrium features indigenous Oklahoma wildlife in a woodland setting, a reflecting pool outside the three-story face of the atrium, a series of concave and convex curves create the form of the building that gives it a dynamic, fluid motion that carries through the interior, a varied palette of brick, glass, ornamental stell, and cast stone reinforce the contextual elements found in the surrounding area, an interior influenced directly by simple lines, natural elements, and curvilinear exterior.
