Cushing Regional Hospital - Cushing, OK
This project consisted of a four-story addition, a one-story expansion and remodeling the existing facility to address current problems and accommodate future needs. The work included bringing the building into current code compliance and updating the facility to address program requirements in order to retain market share and attract a larger patient population. Nearly every department in the hospital was included in the project, including Surgery, Obstetrics, Imaging and Emergency Services. A master plan was developed for the hospital, coordinating the project design to fit within a tight budget and demanding schedule. Multiple options were analyzed to select the best combination, balancing the client’s needs and budget. Material selections were made and detailing developed to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, while being durable and cost-effective.
