Highlands Oncology Group - Fayetteville, AR
The Highlands Oncology Group project has two important purposes – practical medical care and emotional support of patients and their families. To address those needs, Crafton Tull Sparks incorporated functional administrative and clinical spaces with aesthetically pleasing waiting areas and soothing landscape areas. Strict covenants and the multi-use of the facilities were integrated into the design with beautiful, functional results. Due to time restrictions, the firm established a building footprint and coordinated with consultants to allow the contractor to start site work while the project was still in the construction documents phase. For continuity, the overall design incorporated the same basic materials used throughout the medical park, but unique features, such as suspended shade canopies over the picture windows at the front of the building, were added.
