Rosedale Park - Little Rock, AR
The Rosedale Park project was a planning effort for the City of Little Rock Parks & Recreation department. The design team consisted of USI Engineers for Civil Engineering, Crafton Tull Sparks for planning & landscape architecture and Williams & Dean Architects for architectural support. The task was to take an existing optimist club park used primarily for baseball and design a master plan that would accommodate baseball fields for multiple age groups, a football field, a basketball gym with senior activity spaces at an upper level, an indoor aquatic facility, an outdoor splash pad and parking for all uses. The existing site was expanded to allow for the additional program elements and to connect to adjacent collector streets.
