Rogers Sports Park Trail

The City of Rogers, Arkansas, selected Crafton Tull to prepare the master plan, architectural designs, and engineering documents for a new sports park at Highway 67 and Dixieland Road. The theme of the park is “Nature in the Ozarks,” which is typified by wetland mitigation ponds and streams surrounded by native vegetation on the location’s south side. This drainage system acts as a buffer between the park and the adjacent railroad tracks and provides interpretive opportunities for trail users. The paved multi-use path meanders through the constructed wetlands and links to the City of Rogers rail network on both the east and west ends of the site. On non-tournament days, the parking lots serve as trailhead parking for locals that wish to ride or walk around the ball fields and vegetated ponds.
