Fred Creek Drainage Improvements - Tulsa, OK

Crafton Tull provided design services on the Fred Creek Drainage Improvement project in Tulsa. The upstream end of Fred Creek required the re-channelization of the existing creek and the replacement of existing reinforced concrete pipes with reinforced concrete boxes. Beginning near South Urbana Ave., Fred Creek travels through reinforced concrete boxes ranging in size from 7'x4' to 11'x5' for approximately 1400 linear feet. The open channel portion of the project begins at the end of the reinforced concrete boxes west of S. Richmond Ave. The open channel portion of the project is approximately 950 linear feet and starts at the end of the reinforced concrete boxes west of S. Richmond Avenue. Other Integral elements of the drainage project included some waterline, sanitary sewer, utility relocations.
