24th Street Extension - Rogers, AR

Crafton Tull provided engineering services for the City of Rogers on the 24th Street extension. The project area consisted of approximately one-half mile of a new 3-lane street between New Hope Road on the south and the existing Seminole Hills Subdivision to the north.  Constructed primarily to serve as a secondary access point to the new Rogers Aquatics Center at Dock Wheeler Park, it would also serve to improve connectivity in the area. The 3-lane section runs from New Hope to Lilac with a 2 -lane boulevard constructed north across the park property. The project consisted largely of the reconstruction of the existing street within the existing right-of-way, with a portion on the park property being new construction. The design also called for the installation of approximately 1,700 linear feet of new storm drain to improve drainage in the area.
