Perry Road Interchange
Crafton Tull provided a wide range of essential services for a new interchange off I-49 to serve Mercy Hospital and the City of Rogers. Services included: a break-in-access study, surveying, parcel plans, right-of-way plans, utility relocation and coordination, channel relocation, FEMA CLOMR / LOMR submittals, Corp of Engineers permitting, interchange layout, roadway design, and bridge design. We coordinated with the Federal Highway Administration, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission, as well as local businesses. The interchange is six lanes, with two of the ramps over Blossom Way Creek. Both sides include a 6-foot sidewalk. Ashlar stone decorative concrete adds to the aesthetic value.
The project received an Honorable Mention Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies in 2008.
