First Pentecostal Holiness Church - Sand Springs, OK
With a growing church in a time where contemporary worship and theatrical elements are expected, First Pentecostal Holiness church chose to remodel their existing sanctuary to accommodate these trends. Crafton Tull Sparks Interior Designers worked to create a design that would improve the current lighting, provide elements that would visually raise the 13’ ceiling, make the space acoustically sound, and provide a stage area that would accommodate the change in worship style. It was important to maintain an environment that would enhance the spiritual experience which was achieved by indirectly lighting ceiling clouds throughout the sanctuary and using arches to draw the eye up. LED lighting, acoustical panels resembling stone arches, and pews featuring individual folding seats completed the project.
